Give Me Joy Day 14: Is This Not a Good Time for You?

You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed

 me with joy.

 -

 Psalm 30:11

God, there are times when I simply

do not

want to

be patient anymore.

I feel the whispers of relief

calling to me

on the other side of quitting

living small

throwing in the towel

of whatever vision

I think I might have discerned from you.

God, why does the waiting have to be so much a part of the process

of what you have in mind for me?

What you have placed in my heart is burning so deeply, so brightly

that I almost cannot bear to live with it.

You say that those who wait upon you shall renew their strength.

I need that strength today Lord.

Infuse me with more strength, more power, and more joy for the

journey.

How do you correct negative feelings?

This is such a seemingly simple question. How you feel is how you

feel. Perception is reality. Many times I find that when I sit down and

get real quiet... real honest with a situation… I am able to get at the

heart of the matter.

Pay attention to when you are having these negative feelings.

Pay attention to the people around you.

the setting.

your mood.

the time of year.

the day of the week.

morning vs. evening.

Really look at the situation like you are an investigative reporter.

What do you realize about the situation?

Place those awareness's against other situations that are causing you

incredible stress.

You may find some simple ways to shift the way you are approaching

these types of situations.

For me if I have am especially difficult week at work, I simply cannot

commit to a social outing until I have some quiet time. I am unable to

engage in situations like this without feeling extremely depleted.

That is a difficult line to draw: self care the way I need to experience it

vs. the societal norm which is to be ready to socialize at a moment's

notice.

But you simply MUST do what you need to do.

Joy in Action Moment:

What are some realizations that you are having from this exercise?

What realities do you need to acknowledge about your self care?

Re "perception is reality"

Whoever promotes the meme "perception is reality" is, wittingly or unwittingly, spreading destructive self-defeating propaganda. Or UNlove.

The MISLEADING FAKE mantra of "perception is reality" is a product of a fake sick culture that has indoctrinated its "dumbed down" (therefore TRULY ignorant, therefore easy to control) people with many such manipulative slogans. You can find the proof that perception is commonly NOT reality in the article “The 2 Married Pink Elephants In The Historical Room –The Holocaustal Covid-19 Coronavirus Madness: A Sociological Perspective & Historical Assessment Of The Covid “Phenomenon”” at https://www.rolf-hefti.com/covid-19-coronavirus.html

By the way, with the letters of "omicron" an alleged Covid variant you can spell "moronic"...

And further speaking of stupid herd people not getting the glaringly obvious truth/ie not getting the constant onslaught of BIG lies of the official authorities......
