When You Look Around at the the Whole of your Life What Do you See?

WHAT DO YOU SEE?

A change in mindset - either how people view us or how we view ourselves - is a process.  It takes a ton of energy and support and repetition to truly cause a significant shift in perspective.  I know it is not easy.  I know many times the work you are doing to create change will seem too difficult.  But keep going and be gentle about the time line.  Many times deep innner work takes a while to bloom on the surface. But the results are long lasting and the depth of wisdom you will bring to new challenges in your life is priceless.

Maybe It Is Time to Change What you are Focusing On

Where is your focus?

Focus is a powerful tool.  Athletes use focus all the time to accomplish seemingly impossible feats of strength and endurance.  Artists and musicians spend years honing their craft despite the lack of financial and many times personal accolades for the gift they are nurturing.

I tend to use the words FOCUS and DWELL interchangeably,  I think where your mind dwells, where your heart dwells, where your energy is placed, that is where you will find direction your life is moving in.  Trouble is this pertains to any area you put focus: past mistakes, a bad relationship, a failure.

What Do you Believe About Your Future?

What do you believe about your future?

How much time have you spent assessing how your life looks now versus 1 year ago, 5 years ago, 10 years ago?  If you have not spent much time really getting a clear vision for your future this exercise will reveal the results of that type of living.

The same is true for how much joy you are experiencing.  There needs to be some clear cut agenda for allowing more joy in your life.  What activities do you need to incorporate more of in your life?  What experiences have you had that are causing you anger/misery which you need to make peace with and let go of?  What relationships you need to eliminate all together or to enhance/deepen?

Proverbs 29:18: Without vision, the people perish...
