SAVOR: What Did you Know for Sure When you Were a Girl?

Yes I am a dreamer. For a dreamer is one who can find his way by moonlight, and see the dawn before the rest of the world.
-
Oscar Wilde

Some things have been in your heart since you were a little girl.  The things you liked to do.  The stories you loved to hear.  The activities that brought you joy.

These inner whispers hold within them the blueprints for more joy in your life.

Think about your 8 year old self and write down those things you knew for sure about yourself back then.

What do you see about yourself today through THOSE eyes?

Savor: Assess Where you are in your Life Right NOW

Wherever you are is the right place.  There is never a need to fix anything, to hitch up the bootstraps of the soul and start at some higher place.  Start right where you are.

SAVOR: I am Wondering How Risky That Leap You Have Been Meaning to Take TRULY Is

The moment somebody says to me, "This is very risky," is the moment it becomes attractive to me
- Kate Capshaw

Is there something you have been thinking about doing that feels a bit risky?

Think about one PARTICULAR something and think about what good could come from taking the risk.

  Think about it this way:
Are some of the risks simply obstacles you actually have the ability to get past?

Now think about the TRUE risks in the opportunity:
where are you at in making the decision to go for it?

SAVOR: The World Needs you To Share What you Savor

I arise in the morning torn between a desire to save the world and a desire to savor the world.  This makes is hard to plan the day.
-E.B. White

What a beautiful way to face the world.  You are so in touch with your soul's purpose that each day gets better and better.

Do you have a sense of how to reach that type of life joy?  Is there a road map that you have been dreaming about that you need to chart on paper?

Stop holding it in your heart and take some action steps.

First step:  Write down what comes to mind when you think of the words:

Save the World

Now: Write down what comes to mind when you think about the words:

Savor the World

These answers are trail markers to your new life.

SAVOR: The Realization that Maybe It's Time to Let Go

Every journey starts with a separation, a leave-taking, a realization that the place you are right now is a place where you can no longer stay.
- Justine Musk

The choice to part ways with a bad idea, a wrong decision, a friendship or a relationship is difficult to say the least.

Many people ascribe to the cliche when someone makes her bed, she needs to lie in it - no matter how uncomfortable the bed has become.  And in some cases the decision to stay in the situation can potentially bring deep lessons that have been far reaching value.

But...

Is there any decision that you are facing right now where you know you need to make peace and let go?

Do you Create From your Heart or your Head?

“If I create from the heart, nearly everything works; if from the head, almost nothing.”

SAVOR: Waiting for the Answer You Need

I'm learning to be quiet with myself.  The view is clearer through the stillness.
- Carol Franco

It is not always easy to be still.  Waiting for the answers that only come from the quiet.  Letting our hearts and our minds settle.  Not making a decision too quickly.  Not giving the immediate answer.

Think about a decision that you made where you reaped valuable benefits from taking that time to let the decision marinate a bit.

SAVOR: So You Want More Wisdom, eh?

"The foolish man seeks happiness in the distance, the wise grows it under his feet."
 - James Oppenheim

Wisdom is earned.  With each hardship, there is a lesson. Each time we make the decision to be patient, learn all the details, be coached or become an apprentice of life, we find rich soil on which to grow beautiful new well earned success.

Sometimes we have to choose to take the long way around, take our time, wait on something, save for it, earn it when we could easily give up or decide if it's not coming easily it's not meant to me.

Sometimes....the waiting is where we find the true wisdom to be successful and what true freedom in choices -even the ones that caused delayed gratification - feels like.
