4 More Tips to Alleviate the Fear of Being Creative

  

In my last article, I discussed this phenomenon that many people are experiencing where they actually do have a desire to creative, but the fear of taking that first is crippling their ability to give it a try.

 Here are four more tips to help curb some of that angst:

  • Encourage experimentation: Encourage the person to experiment with different styles and techniques to find their own creative voice.
  • Share your own experiences: Share your own experiences with creative blocks or fears and how you overcame them.
  • Set goals: Encourage the person to set achievable creative goals and celebrate their successes along the way.
  • Practice together: Engage in creative activities together and make it a regular practice to keep the creative juices flowing.
