God,
please help us not to follow the advice of the wicked,
or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers.

Help
us to delight in your laws LORD, and meditate on it day and night.
Help us to be like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season.
Cause our leaves never to wither. Help us to prosper in all we do.

Help us not
to be wicked.
The wicked are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind. |
Condemn them for the evil they had done to others.

for watching over the path of the godly,
Help us to stay off the path of evil which leads to destruction. |
